2oth century fox..are you listening??? Start up a "Ripley" franchise!!
Now hear me out, I know in your big production/bottom line minds that a series of films, possibly a trilogy, about the character of "Ripley" seems a bit outdated or farout especially if it had hardly any "Predators" or "Aliens" or "Terminators" in it, but think of the story first..When last we saw Ripley, she was well on her way to crashing on Earth..I just don't understand why they haven't attempted with the advent of the Bourne franchise,James Bond as well as Resident Evil, to try to tie-in their own franchises with a simple trilogy that connects "the Company","skynet", timetravel, a possible meeting between Ripley and Sarah Conner,Ripley vs. The Company.
Also ripley hates The Company for what they've done to her in the past..Why wouldn't her character want to destroy them for good???
All I know is if you were to get this started, hire j.j. abrams and his writing crew to get this off the ground, this could very well be the biggest series tie-in ever!!!
Star Trek is coming folks!! If you think that's not because he is the god of future films, I'd think you would be foolin yourself...
This series has all the elements: Sci-fi,mystery,action,revenge,drama,etc..
This is not chronicles of riddick!!
this needs to be done..If 20th century fox wants to get out of the hole they are in,they need to look where their franchises are going..
The last Alien vs Predator film sucked.period.The writers at Dark Horse are much better than the hacks you got for those two films...
Actually,almost every story that has been written in trade or done at Dark horse were better than those two films...sad,plain sad.....
