Kenneth Branagh the english shakespearean actor/director of "Much ado about nothing","Henry V"," Dead Again" and "Mary Shelley's Frankenstein" is in negotiations with Marvel to direct "Thor".
The motivation is an odd one considering he's been out of popularity for quite awhile..
